Ugly supermodels!

Published by You Just Made My List! at 3:03 am under I Don't Get It

ugly supermodels

Let me go ahead and stop anyone who is going to make the argument that “it’s refreshing to see ‘interesting’ people model instead of the same old generic beautiful people.” Bullshit! If you think that the fashion world is seeking higher moral ground with these turd faces then you are dumber than Guy Fieri. The fashion industry is filled with borderline-retarded people who are way too narcissistic to ever think that far ahead. It’s weird for the sake of being weird.

I don’t want to see “normal” people model. I want to see textbook-perfect looking models who make you angry they are so beautiful. I want them to make me look in the mirror and hate what I see. I want to doubt everything about myself when I see their perfectly formed bodies sent to earth by God on the backs of winged puppies. Give me a Heidi Klum any day over these gap-toothed alien faces. Heidi Klum literally makes me want to punch myself in the face for being less of a person. This should be the goal of all models, to make the rest of us hate our lives.

yjmml, I couldn’t agree more. For me the big thing is I want to see people much better looking than I am and much better looking than anyone I know personally. If models are going to make ridiculous money then they should be likewise ridiculous beuatiful.

When I used to frequent strip clubs I didn’t want to see women I could probably sleep with if I met in a bar, I wanted to see women I didn’t have a chance in hell to see naked unless I was paying to do so!

The women in those pictures ARE ugly. No doubt. And it’s no fun looking at them.

I think the girl on the right is trying to suck out my soul.

    Androgyny happens.

    But ugly lasts forever.

I blame Tyra Banks. I believe it’s her life mission to ensure that no model ever bests her. The “winners” of her show are evidence of that.

And there are other ways to go with “non-standard model” than just going ugly. Take Monica Belucci, for example. (If you need to, go to Google or IMDb and look her up, we’ll wait.) There’s no denying that she’s insanely, horribly, painfully hot, but she’d never make it as a fashion model. In fact, chances are that a fashion designer would call her too fat.

Hey I agree with you I do. But the first girl pictured is Omahyra. ANd yes she is a little Androgynous but that is what I LOVE about her look. I actually think she is sexy in her own way. But the other two I 100% agree were BUTT ugly!

Shame on you Listman! the girl in the last pic is a sweetheart, her name is Lara stone. and since the age of the supermodels(the late 80s to 90s) has ended so called beautiful models have disappeared. it’s all bout looking odd.blame Kate Moss for starting the heroin chic crap.druggies aren’t beautiful!

Wow dude, that was hilarious. Everyday since the vacation has been freaking awesome. Keep it going!

I agree with you, Listman. I don’t want to see normal people, I want to see anorexic supermodels who are so skinny they can cut paper with their forearms. Is that so much to ask?

Okay, this post makes me uncomfortable; and I know I’m going to get a ton of people complaining about my comment, but whatever. There are way too many comments about “ugly” women that are posted on the internet in general.

I get your point, however, about fashion embracing oddness, often to the sake of common sense. I am just cringing in advance about all the “she’s a dog; why does she exist” posts that are prob. to come.

Christine – You have to understand when I say “ugly supermodels” I am referring to ugly on the supermodel scale. These “ugly” models may be better looking than 90% of the people on the planet but I want my supermodels to be super! I want them to look ridiculously perfect. Sorry, I just do.

Politically correct blogs aren’t funny, Christine. Lighten up.

Lara Stone is one of the most iconic looking models out there right now.

That gap between her teeth is paying her bills and in the end shes laughing her way to the bank. If you want cookie cutter models why type in Victoria Secret on google, otherwise you can back the fuck off and find a new hobby because fashion doesn’t seem for you.

Jordan – You go girl! I do want cookie cutter models, didn’t you read what I wrote? Who told you fashion was my hobby? That person was lying to you.

  15. rxon 02 Mar 2009 at 12:56 pm

i know what you mean, but there’s a lot you don’t understand about the fashion industry. the days of the supermodel are long gone, and right now, ugly is the new pretty.

  16. You Just Made My List!on 02 Mar 2009 at 12:59 pm

RX – actually there’s a lot I DO understand about the fashion industry since I worked in it for 6 years. Ugly will always be the new ugly.

Lara Stone is actually very beautiful, that’s just not her best pic you put on there…
