Dreamcatchers and wolf art!

Published by at 3:02 am under I Don't Get It,Why?!?

dreamcatcher wolf art

There is nothing more tragic than white people who think they are somehow tapping into some great mystic force because they purchased a plastic dreamcatcher when they stopped at the Kum & Go for some lottery tickets and a Slim Jim. I hate to tell you this Linda, but the fact that you think you are 1/32 Cherokee and you collect wolf figurines makes you about as spiritual as a stripper. How’s that dreamcatcher working out for you by the way? If your dream was to dress exclusively in sweatpants and oversized Looney Tunes T-shirts then I guess it’s working. Did you pray to the wolf spirit for an alcoholic husband who loves Nickelback and works at Pizza Hut? Is the wind God helping you lose that last 165 lbs. you just can’t seem to lose on your own? Stop embarrassing yourself Linda!

Also Wolf art on T-shirts and bowling shirts should lead to a 5 year jail sentance… these things have no right on this earth

    haha… YES…

I don’t know about you guys, but having anything hanging from my rearview mirror is a distraction…

When I see one of these so-called ‘dream catchers’ dangling in all its feathery twineness from someone else’s rearview, I HAVE to get away from them on the road, OR ELSE!

Dream catcher… more like fart catcher…

as someone who is native American, real dream catchers aren’t that wonky.and yes it’s annoying when whites claim to be 1/234 native American, unless you’re full or half we don’t really care.good post.

What the hell is WITH those oversized Looney Tunes sweatshirts? I haven’t seen on in a store since 1994, and yet they are still everywhere! You can comment on them to anyone, and they will know what you are talking about! (Anyone in the US or Canada, anyway, I’m not sure how far that particular plague has spread.)

I just shit my pants, or rather my chair since I don’t wear any pants. That one’s awesome.
I don’t even care how much of a Cherokee or whatever someone is. It’s still bullshit.
    Thumbs up!

okay… i sort of have a thing for wolf tshirts, but then again, i also sewed an airbrush of tupac shakur onto the back of a jeans jacket. i guess i just like funny and ridiculous clothing, because i really think getting dressed is the stupidest thing to take seriously.

but i know the kind of person you are talking about, and while they are beyond ridiculous because they actually do take their clothes seriously, i sort of love these people. they are the same people with the amazing mullets at the mall.

rx: a ‘thing’ for wolf shirts?

I’d be curious, not in a “I’m gonna laugh at you” kinda way, but legitimately curious what the appeal is for you.

What do you think when you see a wolf shirt?

The Looney Tunes T-shirts, I think, are from Wal-Mart, at least if Henry Rollins is to be believed

RX – Don’t get me wrong, as much as these people freak me out I am overjoyed that they exist.

Daryn – Thanks for the link, I have never seen it before. Very funny!

LOL When I was little, I had this weird babysitter who collected all kinds of eagle figurines. They were EVERYWHERE I looked in her house!!!! I probably thought it was cool when I was 6 though. I won’t deny it.

You hit the nail on the overweight white trash head on this one.

Yep, I can just picture them…filing in and out of the local wal mart for a box of wine and some marshmallows, and then off to the tobacco section to buy their favorite generic pack of smokes and toting their little welfare bundle in the old dirty stroller from goodwill and their bored pre teen wearing their Hanna montana shirt.

  19. […] and Jesus in equal parts. I think I will paint a portrait of Jesus with a mullet and a bunch of dreamcatchers in his hair, and send it to Dog. He will shit his leather […]

i love wolves and would pet them all day if it were possible, but they are to be left wild. i will not try to tame one. if it comes to me thats up to him/her. i like dream catchers as a decoritive peace. i dont know what ‘real’ ones are like, but im willing to learn. and i dont claim to be american indian, i know i am part indian. i get it from both my parents. im proud of it,
