Betty White on SNL!

Published by at 8:38 am under Awesome!

I got back late from a long road trip yesterday and the result is this lame-ass cop out post. Life is cruel sometimes.

But anyway, did you see the much-hyped Betty White episode of Saturday Night Live this weekend? It had to be the most solidly entertaining episode in the history of the show. Betty White was awesome and it was nice to see all the all-star women from past seasons all back together again. That’s all I wanted to say, tell me how much I suck now.

The Delicious Dish cracks me up every time. “I went through a muffin phase back in college.” “I haven’t had a cherry in my muffin since 1939” HA!!

I also loved the HUGE ovation she got in the opening sketch. She and Fred Armisen had to just smile and wait for it to wind down!

It was a great show, very few weak moments. The news wasn’t great but still not terrible. Even the digital short was OK.

Yeah you’ve got to watch out for those yeasty muffins. I miss “muffin” being a slang term, it seems to have fallen out of use.

Very solid show and Betty delivered the funny. As great as Betty was though, the funniest moments for me in the whole show (had me in tears I was laughing so hard) was Kristin Wiig as the girl with the tiny hands.

I thought Betty did amazing, she really made that show entertaining for the first time in a LONG time. Loved the census taker sketch, hilarious.
