I’m so excited I can barely find the ability to type. I’ve written about Jack Rebney before so I will skip an introduction and just say watch this…

The first time I saw/heard/absorbed/was overcome by Jack was in the internet-via-web’s fledgling days… I have never forgotten him, or his tirades JESUS FUCKING CHRIST FUCK FUCK SHIT!

I’m such an old piece of shit that I first saw him on VHS. I wish I could take a time machine to July 9th when the movie comes out!

Speaking of VHS, I acquired a VHS tape at a production company I worked at in the mid-90s, which at that time, could not be duplicated any more because the generation loss was severe. Anyhow, about a year ago, I found it, digitized it, captioned it, and posted. Sorry for the ass-like kwality, but whatever. It’s awesome:

Deb changed my life and the lives of my friends when she showed this to me a million years ago. Long before YouTube, or even the internet. “My mind is a fucking piece of shit” is the best line ever!

He is an American hero. I noted that he now self-describes as “a crotchety old man.” Unless he’s mellowed considerably since the Winnebago days, I think “crotchety” is a savage understatement.
