Sarah Palin and her bullshit!

Published by at 3:00 am under Jerks

I REALLY don’t want to turn this into a political blog but I just have to write about this. I PROMISE to get back to complaining about important things like reality TV and various douchebags but this woman is making it impossible not to talk about her.

I am all for debate. In fact, intelligently debating the issues is one of the most important tools for progress. It forces the kinks to be worked out and should bring you to the best solution. But I will never understand the willingness to lie. It always seems the people who wave the American flag the hardest are the ones most willing to shit on it. What could possibly be American about lying to your fellow Americans in an attempt to gain power? People are calling Sarah Palin “relatedable” but I can’t relate to her desire to drag this election into the toilet at all. I’m proud to not relate to this woman.

A writer for the Associated Press decided to fact check Palin and her Republican buddies “facts” and what do you know, they are full of shit. Everyone’s favorite fishing mom or hockey mom or whatever the fuck she calls herself is not the “oh so pure” maverick she pretends to be.

I’m so sick of this brand of politics. It is a direct FUCK YOU to the American people who are currently in great need for honest and intelligent leadership. It’s not easy to say too many bad things about Obama so they resort to twisting the truth and outright lying.

Read about the truth behind their crap here

I will complain about something more awesome tomorrow, possibly the fact that Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale think they are Jamaican. Fuck off.

Your blog was good until now. Now that the republican ticket has someone likable, all the dems are scrambling. Worried about lies? Worry about your own candidate flip-floping. Worry about your ticket telling the American people everything they want to hear. Yes, spoon feed us baby, then fuck us over.

Oh Patrick, sweet sweet Patrick with your classic “think like me or you suck” attitude.

“…telling the American people everything they want to hear. Yes, spoon feed us baby, then fuck us over.” Sounds a lot like somebody I know. What’s his name again? George Bush?

So let me get this straight, I should ignore all of Palin’s outright lies about Obama and her own record because she is “LIKABLE?” So likability should be my first priority when choosing the leaders of the free world? That makes PERFECT sense! Hey look Sarah Palin likes to fish just like me, I guess that’s good enough, who needs facts when you have fish?

It’s funny how you completely dismiss McCain and Palin’s lies. How do you shut your brain off like that because I would love to give it a try. Does it make you dizzy or does it feel like being drunk? Do balloons and shiny items become overwhelmingly exciting?

Flip flopping, a true classic line of bullshit, and it only took you 3 sentences to bring it out of the moth balls. Calling Obama a flip flopper is so silly I’m guessing you even had a little chuckle as you typed it. Like, “I can’t believe I am actually going to give this approach a try.”

Patrick, if you don’t like or agree with Obama then that is PERFECTLY fine with me but don’t belittle your country, me and YOURSELF by allowing these people whom you support to lie. Simple as that. At least have some self respect. As an American how can you possibly forgive it? How can you look your candidate in the eye with pride when they are lying right to your face? I’m not kidding, HOW can you do it?

I don’t give a SHIT how likable Sarah Palin is because I have done my homework and I not only disagree with her politics and her approach, I don’t want her to suddenly be President if McCain dies in office.

I’m going to go ahead and act like a responsible adult and base MY vote on important grown-up things NOT how “likable” or cute or hot (Sarah Palin is a total MILF) a candidate is. If you ask me, that is the EXACT OPPOSITE of being “spoon fed.”

p.s. I don’t believe for a second Patrick was once a fan of this blog.

    Nicely said, sir. Thank you!

Your rant about Palin was just like McCain’s speech. Stupid with no content about the issues at all.

Proof read your writings, this is the most poorly written critique I have ever read. It basically says nothing! LoL good job, I bet you are a McCain supporter in real life…..or, no wait, you are gonna put Hussain Obama in office and run my small business OUT of business. Thanks all you Liberal loosers. Hey, at least Obama will give me 52 weeks of unemployment instead of 26, now there’s a democrat selling feature!!!!

…and by the way, if you support ANY canidate based on how truthful they are, you are the one to laugh at, not Patrick. Any person voting for the party who does not lie is an idiot. Dem’s or Republicans, they lie. I can use the rest of your blog’s bandwidth for the year telling you all the lies Hussain Obama has told over the past 12 months. Get a clue, and enjoy your 52 weeks of liberal free help from this terrorist.

    Go Hussain Obama YEAH.

Steven, here’s a little advice if you would like to be taken seriously in a political discussion… try to hide your stupidity by not using 4th grade tactics like calling Obama “Hussain.” Try to mask you racism a little better next time and maybe the adults will actually listen to you.

I own a small business and nothing has been worse for my business and almost ever other hard working small business than George Bush and the republican “leadership.”

“and by the way, if you support ANY canidate based on how truthful they are, you are the one to laugh at” – What the fuck does this even MEAN?

I don’t mind having an intelligent discussion about the candidates with you or anyone else but that is literally not possible with a person like you.

One more thing, I know everything and I am never wrong. I am awesome in every way!

OK,first off. What’s with the blue blockers she has on?Lieutenant Dangle called,he wants his shades back!

I am with you, dude, everyone’s saying how great she is and I am kinda tired of it.This isn’t a popularity contest, this is a presidential race.I don’t care how hot she is (and I agree, she is beautiful!),I care about the issues firsthand, and her views on them versus my own do not mirror one another.

She’s against a lot of what most sane and reasonable people are and should be for.We as a nation should be progressing forward, and in the last 8 years, that hasn’t happened.Sarah Palin would help continue that trend.I like you agree,if McSame were to die in office, having her in the Oval Office would be extremely scary.

I’m not really going to worry too much because McSame isn’t going to win. That party is the Los Angeles Clippers of political parties, every year they seem to get a little bit more terrible. No sane person bets on the Clippers!

People like Steven and Patrick are the real reason why this country isn’t fixing it’s problems. We put the focus on politicians, but they’ll do pretty much anything if it’s demanded of them. Those like the forementioned choose ignorance and hate over progress. I doubt I’ll ever understand why and it’s what concerns me most about the future.

And please keep calling the Republicans on their lies, it needs to be said. The Democrats can skew things too, but they don’t hold a candle to the Republican’s shamelessness (and have less reason to). The Republican Party fucked up bad the last eight years and needs a time out now more than ever.

Here is a page featured on Newsweek’s election website by Factcheck.org (a non-partisan group) that goes over some of the more serious allegations that Palin lied about her policies: http://www.newsweek.com/id/157986

The results are surprising…in that the rampant rumors that she lied are just that- rumors, grossly unrelated to the truth.

Luckily for both Republicans and Democrats, most Americans are going to take political ads at their face value and not invest any of their own time into understanding the various policies/positions of the candidates. It certainly saves them time and money when all each side has to do is run a smear campaign with little regard to the actual truth.

ErinMD82, thanks for joining the conversation. I won’t argue that some of the accusations about Palin are inaccurate. False information spreads quickly thanks to the web. BUT I am not referring to those things covered in the article you linked. I am referring to the actual, verifiable lies Pallin has told, and she has told a lot.

The thing that really makes me despise her is the fact that she is trying to play the part of “maverick” which could NOT be further from the truth.

She’s a woman who SUPPORTED the “bridge to nowhere” and now says she did not. LIE. She’s a woman who allowed the tax payers spend over $18,000 for her to live in her own home. I’m really sick of shit like this. Enough is enough.

McCain and Palin are running a dishonest and ugly campaign because thanks to George Bush and Karl Rove they have learned that is the only way to win when you have nothing to offer the American people.

Do we really need another pathological liar with almost no experience in office? Enough already, let’s get this country back on track.

More about Palin’s lies and actual record…

As I sit here watching various 9/11 tributes on TV I am HORRIFIED that there is a single American who would even consider voting for a republican again.

  11. justapersonon 05 Oct 2008 at 3:09 pm

I like the way that you chew these retards up when they try to defend that puppy dog palin and her masters. She is one empty suit who, if given the chance, will be a proxy for Dick Cheney. Oh yeah, just what I want; 4 more years of oil men telling me that the sky is falling, and, judging by this so called “bailout”, actually MAKING it fall. We need a break, things are tough and we need an Administration that is FOR the people, at least more than these guys are. They won’t ever change, thats why we badly need some new faces in there. Any one who thinks that Obama is a “terrorist” is really narrow minded. If McSame gets into office we are in whole lot of more trouble GEO POLITICALLY. ONE MORE TIME: MCSAME+PRESIDENT =MORE TROUBLE GEO POLITICALLY

    Thank you

    Very nice!

  14. justapersonon 02 Mar 2009 at 7:23 pm

HEY KIM, I want to know whats so damn ridiculous about anything that i have said. You should be thankful for your CHILDREN’S SAKE that we got obama, even though he is just a controlled puppet himself. Simply wearing a fuck you tee shirt dosen’t mean shit. Thats the problem with this damn country is that people think they can make their own little individual “statement” by wearing a freakin t-shirt instead of RESEARCHING the FACTS and deciding for themselves accordingly, and when I say RESEARCH I don’t mean the MAINSTREAM media, either.
Learn something from the last 8 years, people. I want the same thing that YOU do, the best future possibile for our country and ***your*** children.
(I don’t have any, and I wonder ***WHY***, lol)
